O curta exibe uma série de gags centrados em cruzamentos entre animais e máquinas para aumentar a produtividade. Vemos um incubador de ovos que choca imediatamente e milho cruzado com feijões saltadores do México para alimentar galinhas sem esforço. Em seguida, há galinhas que falam como papagaios, ovos que saem de máquinas caça-níqueis, vacas com caudas de castor para espantar moscas e vacas-kanguru com bolsas para entregar leite. Cada invenção é explicada como uma inovação prática - até que o absurdo se torna cômico.
