One of our NSSC Sailability members, Jazz Turner, featured on BBC South East Today lunchtime news whilst sailing on her epic Project FEAR ("face everything and rise") journey. She is attempting to become the first female wheelchair user to complete a solo, non-stop, unassisted circumnavigation of the UK and Ireland. Jazz is raising money for the Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club (NSSC) Sailability fund. One of the most time consuming tasks as a sailing cruiser is grocery shopping. First we have to get to a store (walk or take a bus) and then we have to get all the food, beverages, supplies on to the dinghy, then on to the boat, and then put away. It’s an all day event! We do this ever two weeks. #sailinglife #sailing_feature #sailinglifestyle
