מִכְנָסַיִים קְצָרִים לִיצוֹר

Little could the Victorian and Edwardian owners of six beautiful 52 feet identical gaff cutter cruiser-racers, and their young designer Alfred Mylne, imagine that more than 125 years later one of them would still be doing exactly what they'd conceived. Believed the last remaining ‘Clyde 20-Ton One Design', TIGRIS has been lucky to be almost constantly and extensively raced and cruised throughout her long life. https://www.sandemanyachtcompany.co.uk/yacht/752/TIGRIS And many of her owners gave back, and continue to do so to ensure that this beautiful, still very practical, fast, and superbly authentic, high provenance yacht continues to give pleasure and gain admirers. A relatively recent open heart surgery refit in current ownership by Chantier du Guip concentrated on the vitally important structural elements down below, where she is effectively only a decade old.

The new Dragonfly 36 which launched at boot Dusseldorf last month.  Loooking good with its wave-piercing main hull and float design. This will give the trimaran more buoyancy in the bow for a smoother ride in choppier waters. The DRAGONFLY Swing Wing system reduces the 8.12 m beam to 3.7 m reducing your marina fees. The DRAGONFLY 36 will be available in two versions, both with carbon masts. The TOURING version with a self-tacking jib and the PERFORMANCE version with a taller rig and larger overlapping furling headsail. Length 11.55m Beam Folded 3.7m #sail #fast #danish @Quorningboats

I visit Turkey very regularly, and as far as yacht building is concerned I’ve just about seen it all; from spectacular, modern state of the art facilities to yachts being built in a field surrounded by cows 🐮🐮🐮 Before you fly over to check out a yacht that you are considering buying, it’s advisable to do a little research. My team and I recently visited the ARES Shipyard and were extremely impressed both by the facilities and by their heritage in building rugged military craft. This is a shipyard well worth visiting!
