#MaseratiMulti70 #RolexMiddleSeaRace Siamo arrivati a Marina di Ragusa, dove staremo fino al giorno prima della partenza della Rolex Middle Sea Race: purtroppo il virus è ancora un problema e noi vogliamo assicurare il massimo della sicurezza, per noi e per gli altri. Abbiamo concordato con gli organizzatori della regata che arriveremo a Malta la mattina stessa della partenza e non sbarcheremo a terra, riducendo così il rischio di contagio. Sabato 17 ottobre alle 11.00 locali (9.00 UTC) partirà il primo scaglione delle 58 imbarcazioni iscritte alla regata, di cui 11 italiane. L’ultimo scaglione sarà proprio il nostro. Tra i nostri avversari il francese Ultim’Emotion 2, maxi trimarano di 80 piedi di Antoine Rabaste, e l’australiano Shockwave, trimarano di 63 piedi con skipper Jeff Mearing e Scott Klodowski. È stato un bel trasferimento, più d 600 miglia in 36 ore. Non vediamo l'ora di partire per la regata! With the rain coming down and the tide racing up the narrows into Strangford lough the racing in race 1 of the annual narrows series was super tight at the top end of the IRC 1 fleet. The J109 Going to Red, stays in the main flow of the tide with a great leebow that allowed them to creep out to leward of both the Mata 1010 Elixir and the Elan 37 ATALANTE. The racing stayed tight across the full 3 days of racing in the annual Narrows series. The team at Bottom up Boats hope you end ejoyed this short clip from a great weekend of racing.

... weil die Mittwochsregatta ausgefallen ist. wir hoffen auf bessere Bedingungen im September. Wobei es jetzt hier auch nicht so schlimm war. 😉
