We have been struggling to sort out the battery power for the electric motor as part of our fully electric boat refit. Except for diesel heating for a British winter, we are going to be Fossil Fuel free. These Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries from Fogstar are the game changer for us. They are the Drift PRO 24V 280Ah LiFePO4 Leisure Battery (Gen2), a new product release that gives us 24Volt, 285Ah and able to deliver 300A. With four of them, we can provide our electric motor with the 48V and 600A it needs. This is an essential step towards finishing our huge refit so we can launch our 1977 Rival 38 Centre Cockpit ketch ASAP. Ya tenemos en nuestras manos nuestras FLIPPER. ⛵️ Por si no las conoces, son las manetas o manivelas PLEGABLES para nuestros Winches!!!💃💃💃 Son las primeras 🌏 que tienen el mango plegable, para que la navegación sea más cómoda, y sobre todo, para que las tengas siempre a mano y te olvides de guardarlas porque te molestan, o incluso tengas miedo de que se te caigan al mar cuando este está bravo. 🌊 Cuántas has perdido tú ya en tu barco?🙉🙉 De momento no les hemos hecho muchas millas, nos falta probarlas en una travesía larga.
