South Georgia feels like stepping inside a wildlife documentary. In the South Atlantic Ocean, it’s free from sea ice and a rich breeding site for millions of penguins, seabirds, and seals. Nowhere else on Earth will you find king penguins, fur seals, or elephant seals in such vast numbers. When I started this vlog I wanted it to be a no frills, good and bad insight into transforming from life on the land to life at sea. I know that to get likes and support people are looking for pretty entertainment, but that’s not what I’m here for. I thought twice today about posting this because it’s boring and I am a bit down, but you know that actually is what life is sometimes so here it is.
