🪢 Sunday Boat Tip [7/52] 🪢 Our gas oven only has heating from below, and when first moving onboard cooking in it was a real struggle! The food got badly burnt on the underside and was often undercooked on the topside, resulting in really bad cooking 🧑‍🍳 But since we got this advice during our first winter as liveaboards our cooking game has improved so much! So, now it’s time for us to pass the knowledge forward. If you have a gas oven with no top heating, you must try this! This has existed in various forms on several hulls. What is shown is this video is from “Umbono”, hull 20. It is very sleek and blend in with the lines of the solar arch shown earlier. We were invited to meet some friends at Caura River and enjoy an afternoon lime with food, drinks and good company! We supplied the drinks and they brought an AMAZING Trinidadian goat curry with a 'Buss up Shut' roti (so good!).
