Varnishing can be a labour of love: On our last boat I applied 11 coats of varnish to the tiller and the results were fantastic... However, it took lots of time which I no longer have. Is it crazy to buy an old boat with no clue about sailing? MAYBE A LITTLE :) But hey, I do love a good challenge! I will make my skippers ticket and learn how to sial, learn how to fix up this old girls and maybe one day sail her around australia. I've already learned so much and met so many amazing peole.
