Just kidding, the new deck won't be cardboard! But this cardboard template is pretty brilliant, now I can cut out the plywood in the perfect shape and I will know it's going to fit. Two pieces coming together with one seam down the middle. The plywood will get glues down with epoxy glue and lastly covered with fiberglass! Oh hey how do you like the look of the new samson post? 🥨 How to tie the Bowline. A Super Easy method. You could call this "Spock's Bowline". ..... If you sometimes struggle with the bowline, which way to coil or twist the loop in, which side of the standing part to loop the working end round, blah, blah, blah, then try this method. It uses your hand as a "Bowline Guide"..it's logical Cap'n. .... Just make a 🖖"Vulcan Salute" with your hand and loop your working end once around your 3rd and 4th fingers. Clamp the loop and the standing part with these fingers. ... It works with either hand, we're showing the right hander's version. If you're a leftie, just do the mirror opposite. ... Then pass your line around the back of your hand and make the bowline as usual (up the hole, round the standing part, back down the hole). Just follow the shape of your hand as you go round . Works for me, anyway. .... Live Long and Prosper. ...
