Just kidding, the new deck won't be cardboard! But this cardboard template is pretty brilliant, now I can cut out the plywood in the perfect shape and I will know it's going to fit. Two pieces coming together with one seam down the middle. The plywood will get glues down with epoxy glue and lastly covered with fiberglass! Oh hey how do you like the look of the new samson post? When we sailed the island of Lefkas in the Ionic Sea of Greece, on the most southeastern side of the island, is an islet called Atokos. This is an uninhabited island, where on the east coast is the famous Wild Pig Beach. We took our dinghy and looked at the pigs that walked on the beach here. The pigs are wild or semi-wild pigs, probably descendants of animals that were once left on the island by humans. This happens more often on uninhabited islands, where pigs are introduced for food purposes or accidentally stranded by ship voyages. Atokos has been uninhabited for a long time, but in the past it was occasionally visited by shepherds or hunters. The pigs may have come from these. They eat a wide range of plants, seeds, roots and nuts that occur in nature. On Atokos vegetation is sparse, but pigs can eat dried grass and branches. Marine life can also be a source of food; some pigs eat washed-up seaweed or small crustaceans. Although pigs are technically wild, they often exhibit semi-tame behaviors when they come into contact with people. Their behavior depends on how much interaction they have had with visitors. They can tolerate human contact, but often remain wary. Some pigs are curious and dare to approach, especially if they smell food!
Video of stern and underneath bridgedeck of the Lagoon 42 "S/V" Eden. S/V Eden is a Pacific based 2016 Lagoon 42 Owners Version catamaran available for sale by owner. This Lagoon 42 with its 3 cabins and 3 heads is fully equipped for Bluewater cruising. Only two owners, never in charter and many upgrades The hull is constructed of a balsa core, with solid GRP below the waterline. The balsa core keeps the boat light, the solid GRP, the boat safe. The cockpit is large and what one expects in a cruising catamaran cockpit. It’s has a table with an L shaped settee, as well as several other seating options. The helm position is separate but still part of the same space, making the helmsperson accessible to crew, while under way. Already located in paradise, with a Large Owner's suite, 2 guest cabins and 3 heads, this boat is ready to go. https://www.catamaransite.com/catamarans-for-sale/lagoon-42-3
