Hike in Wineglass Bay 🥾⛰️ Some of the most beautiful beaches and bays can be seen from the views in Wineglass Bay & Freycinet National Park is gorgeous for hiking and swimming. You can get a guide here but you don’t necessarily need one. The trails are clearly marked and it’s easy to find your way around. 2. Swim with Seals in Waterfall Bay 🦭🧜🏼‍♀️ Seals are sooo much fun to swim with! They are found along the coast in this area. Boat tours will take you to the spots where you can see seals and snorkel with marine life. 3. Photograph Wombats on Maria Island 📸🦘🏕️ This island is home to so many species of Australian wildlife. You can find wombats, kangaroos, and even Tasmanian Devils if you’re really lucky. You can also camp on this island with your own camping gear or visit for the day. Remember to pack a headlamp 🔦 4. Scuba Dive in Caves 🤿 🫧 🌊 We chose to dive Cathedral Cave which is the biggest cave system in Australia. This is more of an advanced dive so we recommend doing you PADI Cavern Diver Specialty & PADI Dry Suit Diver for the cold water (trust me 🥶) 5. Look for Penguins at night in Bicheno 🌖🐧 Fairy penguin colonies live in the rocks by the beach and can be spotted after dark. After a long winter spent preparing for the 2019 52 SUPER SERIES season, the opening event in Mahón, Menorca will provide the first indication as to this season’s pecking order. Unlike the flood of new boats that were launched for 2018, this season sees a variety of tweaks and changes across the fleet as teams strive towards gaining an edge in an already highly refined and ultra competitive fleet. Among the changes, several teams with Botin designed boats have replaced their keel bulbs in a bid to improve performance. But teams themselves have also changed, most notably that of last year’s decisive champions Quantum Racing who have a number of key personnel changes. And then there is Vladimir Liubomirov’s Bronenosec Gazprom team, back after sitting out the 2018 circuit but now back with a brand new boat stacked with talent. So be it team changes, boat tweaks or new builds, there are plenty of new variables thrown into the mix for the start of the 5 event 2019 season. Racing started on 21st May.
