For years the Filicudi WildLife Conservation Association has been involved in research applied to the conservation of cetaceans and sea turtles in the Aeolian Archipelago. A lot of the work is the outcome of the incredible collaboration with public and private research institutions and many Italian universities. In this video we see what the researchers and volunteers from the Association spot on a regular basis, luckily, more often recently than before: dolphins in the northern part of Sicily, by the Archipelago. Au départ de Nuuk, la capitale, l’équipage va caboter plus de 1 000 milles pendant deux mois vers le nord, de village en village. « Nous avons pris possession de notre embarcation à Isafjordur en Islande. Nous nous sommes décidés en quelques instants ; ensuite, pendant un long week-end, nous avons commencé à préparer le bateau. Nous avons notamment consolidé les coques en y ajoutant des semelles car les fonds seront extrêmement sollicités chaque jour lors des accostages. Depuis, le bateau a navigué vers Nuuk seul … en kit et en container. La particularité de cette expédition est que nous naviguerons sur un catamaran de sport de 5,50 m seulement. Ce petit multicoque nous offre l’agilité et le contact avec les éléments que nous recherchons.
