Things got a little messy! 🦑💦 In this Short, we’re out on the water in the Solomon Islands trying our luck at catching squid. We quickly learned that these clever creatures have a very effective defense mechanism! Watch as we pull in a catch and end up with squid ink all over the boat (and ourselves!). It was a hilarious and messy reminder of just how much ink these guys can hold. In 2014 Ed completed an 18 month circumnavigation with his father, and I (Paige) got to tag along for most of the Pacific🙌🏻. Following Ed's return we knew we would do whatever it took to get back on the water, this time in our own boat, together. So, after nearly 5 years of planning, saving, and questioning our sanity, we quit our jobs in 2019 and sold most of our non-essential/non-heartfelt belongings.
