The first week of the season ending Frosties Regatta at Strangford Lough Yacht Club were sailed in perfect conditions. With a steady 10 to 15 knots which built steadily during the afternoon before topping out at 15 to 20 knots for race 2. The team on GTR pulled of a near perfect gybe coming down the last run to consolidate the their leading while flying into the bottom mark at of 8 knots of boats speed. After a shacking start to the season in big breezes it is great to see the crew working like clock work as the seasons on Going to Red races towards it's close. Our First Day Sailing Our New Sailboat Sailing Our Sceptre Novice Sailing Couple Me and the Kiwi We took our new sailboat out for four hours in Anacortes, Washington. It was amazing. This is our first boat. We had a beautiful day, the sun sparkled off the water like diamonds as we glided out to sea. We felt the power of the wind in our sails---until the wind died, and we didn't!
