Prologue day 2. Yesterday the fleet started in Lisbon to sail to the start of the race in Alicante. Team Brunel and Mapfre took a northern road along the coast while the rest of the fleet took a more southern route. Check out the start of the race: Boris Herrmann on Malizia - Yacht Club de Monaco starting the Bermudes 1000 race on 9th May 2019 at 5pm. There are 17 IMOCAs in this offshore race over 2000nm from Douarnenez to the Fastnet rock and then down to the Azores.
