We snapped some great footage and use it to show new sailors how to spot a gust coming at you on the water via a discoloration in the water color. Usually it is a darker color that is moving across the water. But don't mistake that for a shadow from a cloud. The first orca (nicknamed Moby Doll) ever to be caught alive was captured off East Point on Saturna Island. East Point is one of the view places in the world where you can get close to orcas from the land. The resident whales swim past twice a day East Point is only a couple of minutes walk from our summer house on Saturna island, so we see them frequently
