Global Surveyor on her approach to Gibraltar, one of the busiest waterways in the world! Our AIS screen has been dotted with ships, and the ship traffic took our attention from the monolithic jewel of the Iberian Peninsula: Gibraltar Rock. All went well and after a challenging mooring manoeuvre, we were off to the shore to enjoy the November sunshine in one of the restaurants. Doch nicht das Getriebe! Aber wie aus einem kleinen Schaden ein großes Problem werden kann. Opferanode löst sich, wandert an der Welle zum Rumpf und hämmert ein kleines Loch in den Gelcoat. Gleich geht es zum Kranen. Damit Osmose keine Chance bekommt.
