Yesterday we saw TWO giant hammerheads in the pass. It was incredible to see them in 30' of water. Last time I saw a giant hammerhead was in 220'. I like this MUCH better. Wow, they are HUGE; this was a mere 15' long. I was SOOOO glad Brown finally got to see one!!

The weather becomes inconsistent and even if the forecast looks good, you might encounter squalls on longer passages, with quite big waves in the acceleration zones between the islands. Pick the right weather window, these squalls are usually brief. Reef early and relax—sunshine will return in a few minutes.
