The Official Logo of the 37th America’s Cup was revealed in Barcelona today at the Museu Maritim de Barcelona. Designed by Pràctica, a Barcelona and New York based design and identity studio, who were selected from a shortlist of three creative studios. Anna Berbiela, Partner of Pràctica said “We are obviously hugely honoured to have had our design chosen as the Official Logo of the 37th America’s Cup here in Barcelona. The insurance we went through probably 15 different insurance agencies looking for someone who would insure the crossing for the Atlantic, insure the boat while it was in Croatia. And being a U.S citizen with a U.S flag boat in a foreign country not a lot of people were interested. The tip that we actually got that worked out was from Nick for UNIQUA Insurance and they were super helpful. Easy, it just fell right into place.
