Here is a quick little video I did while out sailing on a 2015 Catana Bali 4.3 in the Virgin Islands. I hadn't sailed a Bali 4.3 yet, and was impressed with how well she sailed in the 8 knots of breeze we had. The owner's cruising plans have changed, and have decided to move on. I was very impressed with not only the layout of the boat, but the overall condition. We were in the midst of making a mistake, much like last winter. Fully engaged in various projects, a screwdriver here, a wrench there... and suddenly, we place something on our beautifully lacquered dining table, causing deep scratches on the tabletop ✨ We’ve agreed that we bought the boat to use it, so it’s not like we’re walking on tiptoes to avoid wear and tear on the boat. Where we can, we take preventive measures. Therefore, the dining table, which has turned into a work table over the winter, has been covered with an old tablecloth to avoid unnecessary wear 🛠️ The scratches and marks we’ve made throughout the boat are annoying when they happen. One tells oneself, “if only I had done it this way, it would never have happened.” But we’ve gotten better at saying “oh well,” and as time goes on, the scars remind us of a specific time or episode aboard the boat ⛵️
