The giant creature comes up to one diver then after a quick "how do you do" is off to greet another diver. On January 1st, the Global Surveyor sailed from Funchal to Porto Santo, all sails up. A great way to spend the first day of 2024. The Madeira Island Fireworks were spectacular! We saw the possibly largest fireworks display in Europe right from the deck of Global Surveyor! Visiting Porto Santo with its golden beaches and turquoise waters and the Savage archipelago which is a recognised UNESCO site was simply a treat. @gowestsailing
