Revillagigedo is well-known to have the friendliest giant pacific manta rays on Earth. Just slip below the surface and soon they will appear. It makes a diver think just who is checking out who? The giant creature comes up to one diver then after a quick "how do you do" is off to greet another diver. As wonderful as this is to see on a video, it is a thousand times more incredible to experience this in person. Come with us aboard Rocio del Mar and Quino el Guardian!
Check out the video from our Atlantic Sailing trip. We head 30nm offshore and there isn't a sound in the world nearby. We are met by a pod of dolphins and get the GoPro in the water to hear them talking to each other and maybe even us. It was such an incredible memory, one where a mom tears up and reposts it on YouTube years later. thanks for watching - hope it helps inspire you to go sailing!
Watch the full how to video via the link below. https://youtu.be/O-QzPup-ZNw Rope ends will eventually fray even if they were cut with a hot knife or if you burnt the end of the rope. The best way to ensure the tails of your rope stay neat and tidy is to whip the ends. If you want to take your finish to the next level then take the time too added a loop to the end of the rope. In addition to stopping the end of the rope from fraying it gives your halyards the added benefit of having a built in mousing loop that allows you to easier replacing or remove your halyards for the winter with a mousing line. Make sure you stay around to the end of the video to see how this works The team at bottom up boat hope you liked this whipping demonstration if you want to give it a go yourself pick up the tools of the trade from the links below. Buona domenica a tutti ⛵️💙 C.
