This short video shows Snow Gum’s nav station layout, along with additional, twin 12V outlets, in the just the right places for charging Smart devices in use on the saloon table. We replaced the standard USB outlets with extra 12V outlets, to provide flexibility for future technology developments, along with higher power output - 100W each. There’s also an additional 230V AC outlet under the nav station at the starboard end, perfect for a battery charger or setting up a Wabeco CNC milling machine and lathe on the table. :-D

Sunreef 80 Eco: Apollo 99. ▫️ Launched in 2023, Apollo 99 is a 24.4m luxury sailing catamaran from Sunreef. She has accommodation for up to eight guests in each of her cabins with ensuite bathrooms located within the hulls. There is separate accommodation for up to four crew members. ▫️ The Sunreef 80 Eco has interior and exterior dining and lounging options spread out in different areas. I love this feature for two reasons; first, it is a great example of how responsive Vision is to customer feedback that can make the boat better, and second, because I had at least a little input in its creation! In a nutshell, they help prevent the running rigging from getting snagged on the rigid solar panel corners. Flexible panels wouldn't have this problem to begin with, but they are nowhere near as efficient, they get hot and they don't last as long. We were very happy to be getting rigid solar panels, but were less than thrilled about having to be super vigilant to prevent a damaged sheet or panel.
