This short video shows Snow Gum’s nav station layout, along with additional, twin 12V outlets, in the just the right places for charging Smart devices in use on the saloon table. We replaced the standard USB outlets with extra 12V outlets, to provide flexibility for future technology developments, along with higher power output - 100W each. There’s also an additional 230V AC outlet under the nav station at the starboard end, perfect for a battery charger or setting up a Wabeco CNC milling machine and lathe on the table. :-D

This squall line really hit us by surprise. It was a wall of rain and almost 80 knot gusts that hit us full force. Unfortunately the holding in Black Sound at Green Turtle Cay wasn't the greatest and boats started dragging. Cory had to start driving on anchor trying to steer into the wind while taking pressure off the tackle. We ended up wrapping our chain onto a mooring ball in this madness which kept us in place. We faired far better than some, losing outboards boats dragging on moorings and some aground in the area. Luckly only our bow roller got bent and that was all. What an adventure! #shorts

Dabei geht einiges kaputt und ein Containerschiff nähert sich auf Kollisionskurs. Geht das gut? This time we are sailing longer distances again, further and further west. First, we sail around 200 nautical miles from Sicily to Sardinia and from there just about 550 nautical miles to Almerimar on the Spanish mainland.
