We snapped some great footage and use it to show new sailors how to spot a gust coming at you on the water via a discoloration in the water color. Usually it is a darker color that is moving across the water. But don't mistake that for a shadow from a cloud. This is a common sight in open water and in the narrow parts of the ICW. These things are like freight trains on water. They are mostly friendly and I would speak to most of them on the radio as we approached each other to be sure I knew which side they wanted me to pass them on.
