On the other hand, the atmosphere both on and off the water has never been better. The trade winds, in fine form at between 20 and 25 knots, undoubtedly had something to do with it... The five entrants in CSA 1 enjoyed superb courses towards Saba, Saint-Barts and Anguilla. The HH66 Lee Overlay Partners (ex Nemo) put on a great show, impressively flying a hull and, above all, peak speeds pushing 30 knots. The Gunboat 72 Layla was not to be outdone, with her GPS recording a top speed of 24.5 knots. The La Grande-Motte shipyard's first flybridge catamaran won the overall race on corrected time. The Diam 24 fleet was of course severely tested by the choppy conditions, but there too, they put on quite a show. In this fury of spray and exciting runs, the crew of Anomaly came out on top, leaving their rivals with no chance of a rematch. For the past two years, the CMC has been running a second division called Rally. This year, the 9 participants were accompanied - and looked after - by our Marketing Director Gwen Dorning. Giorno 138 - una pausa rigenerante Sono giorni intensi quelli che viviamo ultimamente. Molto lavoro, molte miglia, molte cose da fare, poco tempo per fare tutto. Imparare nuove skill sul lavoro Imparare meccanica, elettronica, idraulica a bordo Imparare a coltivare passioni e salute fisica e psicologica. A volte ci sembra di inseguire tutto ciò, annaspando, accompagnati da quella sgradevole sensazione di essere un passo indietro, sempre in ritardo. Parlando con amici e con qualcuno di voi nei DM abbiamo visto come sia un sentimento piuttosto condiviso. Chiaramente ognuno lo declina a modo suo, ma il filo rosso che unisce la sensazione di inadeguatezza, ritardo e affanno è piuttosto condivisa. Che fare quindi? Purtroppo su questa pagina troverete molte domande e poche risposte :) Con noi funziona imparare a lasciare andare, a mollare il freno a mano, guardarci indietro e individuare un faro nella nebbia, qualcosa che nonostante tutto sta lì, solido, stabile. Sono giorni intensi quelli che viviamo ultimamente. Siamo eternamente grati per la fortuna, le scelte che abbiamo fatto, il supporto delle nostre famiglie, la nostra tenacia. Fare questo viaggio sta riallineando dei tasselli interiori e il nostro desiderio è di condividerlo con voi, lasciar andare (per restare in tema) i cambiamenti che stanno avvenendo e orientarci sempre a un nuovo giorno. Un nuovo viaggio. Nuove miglia. Altri venti. Che soffi sempre nella direzione in cui vuoi andare. 🌬️ C.
