This is a timelapse on November 22th 2017. I captured the pictures at the tip of the Izu-peninsula in Japan. I used a CANON 9000D and a SIGMA 15mm F2.8 EX DG DIAGONAL FISHEYE lens, to capture photos at a 15 second interval which were later combined into a timelapse video. Living on a sailboat, we come across the authorities far more often than you might expect! In the Mediterranean we experienced the Algerian and Croatian navy (Algerian was super stressful!!), and the Italian financial police, but Trinidad is the first time we've been stopped by the coast guard. It was late at night, around midnight, when we saw their blue flashing lights come at us as we motored through the First Bocas, returning to Trinidad after months sailing up and down the Caribbean island chain.
