On the other hand, the atmosphere both on and off the water has never been better. The trade winds, in fine form at between 20 and 25 knots, undoubtedly had something to do with it... The five entrants in CSA 1 enjoyed superb courses towards Saba, Saint-Barts and Anguilla. The HH66 Lee Overlay Partners (ex Nemo) put on a great show, impressively flying a hull and, above all, peak speeds pushing 30 knots. The Gunboat 72 Layla was not to be outdone, with her GPS recording a top speed of 24.5 knots. The La Grande-Motte shipyard's first flybridge catamaran won the overall race on corrected time. The Diam 24 fleet was of course severely tested by the choppy conditions, but there too, they put on quite a show. In this fury of spray and exciting runs, the crew of Anomaly came out on top, leaving their rivals with no chance of a rematch. For the past two years, the CMC has been running a second division called Rally. This year, the 9 participants were accompanied - and looked after - by our Marketing Director Gwen Dorning. En effet, le métier de menuisier/ébéniste ne s'arrête pas à la fabrication et l'installation des meubles. L'aménagement des bateaux commence par l'isolation ainsi que l’installation des planchers, la fabrication, le montage et l’ajustage des meubles et l'installation des plans de travail en résine de synthèse et les vaigrages. Il s'agit donc d'un rôle très complet amenant nos compagnons à travailler différentes matières et essences de bois. ENGLISH PRESENTATION Enzo explains you the diversity of his daily job through the interior arrangement of the OVNI and Cigale yachts. Indeed, the trade of carpenter / cabinetmaker does not stop with the manufacture and installation of furnitures. The fitting out of the boats begins with the insulation as well as the installation of the floors, the manufacture, assembly and adjustment of the furnitures and the installation of the synthetic resin working plans and linings. It is therefore a very complete role, leading our companions to work with different materials and wood species.
