A 48ยช ediรงรฃo da Semana Internacional de Vela de Ilhabela estรก confirmada para o perรญodo 24 a 31 de julho de 2021, no Yacht Club de Ilhabela (YCI), no litoral norte paulista. O grande encontro da modalidade terรก as principais classes de vela oceรขnica como a ORC, RGS, Bico de Proa, Clรกssicos, C30 e HPE25. O evento tambรฉm terรก regatas virtuais como no ano passado. Informaรงรตes como inรญcio das inscriรงรตes e Aviso de Regata serรฃo passadas nos prรณximos dias pelos canais oficiais da Semana Internacional de Vela de Ilhabela. As provas organizadas pelo YCI em parceria com a Prefeitura Municipal de Ilhabela atenderรฃo a todos os protocolos de seguranรงa oficiais relacionados ao COVID-19. Uma das novidades para 2021 รฉ a exigรชncia de teste de PCR com 72 horas de antecedรชncia para o credenciamento. A Semana Internacional de Vela de Ilhabela รฉ parceira histรณrica da Prefeitura Municipal de Ilhabela na realizaรงรฃo das regatas, que atraem mais de 100 embarcaรงรตes de vรกrios tipos e tamanhos, atletas olรญmpicos, profissionais e principalmente amadores, alรฉm de movimentar a economia local nas fรฉrias de inverno. Antes do evento, de 16 a 18 de julho, ocorre a Semana de Monotipos, que conta com barcos de classes olรญmpicas, pan-americanas e da vela jovem.
