We are enclosing and extending our wheelhouse before winter for protect and so we can move the mainsheet from the top of the aft cabin to above the wheelhouse (better safety and a better sheeting angle). This is the second part of the fabric enclosure and the next prototype frame. We are now living aboard our Rival 38 Centre Cockpit full-time while finishing a refit so we can launch ASAP. Prüfungsvorbereitung: SBF Binnen unter Segel, Segelmanöver grafisch illustriert: Beim Wende - Manöver kreuzen wir mit dem Bug durch den Wind. Kommandofolge: Steuermann: "Klar zur Wende?" Vorschoter legt die Vorschot zurecht und meldet: "Ist klar!" Steuermann: "Rhe!". Die Pinne wird weggedrückt (Anluven) Der Steuermann ruft "Über die Segel", sobald das Vorsegel killt. Das Boot dreht durch den Wind. Der Steuermann setzt sich auf die Luvseite und der Vorschoter nimmt die Leeseite ein und holt die Vorschot wieder dicht. Das Wendemanöver ist abgeschlossen.
