Our hike to the Sand Cave in the Cumberland Mts. It is actually a half dome cave that is 250' wide and the interior is 1.25 acres. From the opening the sand slopes up to the rear of the cave. A very unique geological formation for the area. We clocked over 10.5 miles and 2,200' of elevation.

Our AIS screen has been dotted with ships, and the ship traffic took our attention from the monolithic jewel of the Iberian Peninsula: Gibraltar Rock.
