Be cautious of private sales and gypsy brokers, as in Mexico bad documentations such as multiple Temporary Import Permits or that are expired, passed on with questionable Captain's letters etc. can get your vessel seized by the Mex Navy or worse.

We've scheduled about a week to sail to San Diego to pick up some things that the previous owner told us he found in storage. He was kind enough to hang onto them until we could schedule time to sail down and get them.
