City Sailing Land Survival Course A land survival course is a training program designed to teach individuals how to survive in the wilderness or other remote areas in case of an emergency. We learn how to build shelters using natural materials, start fires without matches, identify edible plants and animals, and navigate using a map and compass. Race One of the annual narrows series on Strangford Lough got under way under cloudy skies with a moderate breeze GTR worked to leeward of its main competitors before hitting the pin with speed which allowed them to punch out into the stronger tide which helped the leewbow the three boats to windward of them. It did not take long for them to cast a wind shadow on the boats to windward of them allowing them to put the bow down and race off towards mark 1 in the lead.. This Yacht club boat just had about $9,000 spent on it after an August 2021 survey. Don’t be fooled by the hours on the main engine, she runs great.
