City Sailing Land Survival Course A land survival course is a training program designed to teach individuals how to survive in the wilderness or other remote areas in case of an emergency. This course typically covers a variety of skills and topics, including shelter building, water procurement, fire starting, food gathering, navigation, and emergency signaling. We learn how to build shelters using natural materials, start fires without matches, identify edible plants and animals, and navigate using a map and compass. I bought this gear for emergency use only. In case my prop gets entangled again. The first time it happened it was nearly catastrophic as the sudden stop of the prop from the entangled next sent a vibration and micro debris up the shaft to the dripless seal and the boat began to leak .. . which I was not aware of until I woke up after a nap having being pulled to port by the coast guard and the water was now above the floorboards.
