The Official Logo of the 37th America’s Cup was revealed in Barcelona today at the Museu Maritim de Barcelona. Designed by Pràctica, a Barcelona and New York based design and identity studio, who were selected from a shortlist of three creative studios. Anna Berbiela, Partner of Pràctica said “We are obviously hugely honoured to have had our design chosen as the Official Logo of the 37th America’s Cup here in Barcelona. The priority for maintaining optimal VMG downwind in waves is to continue surfing. When required to gybe, whether due to your orientation to the course, tactics or wind change - maintaining speed on a wave is critical. Surfing keeps you moving down the course while completing the maneuver. The trick is to initiate surfing by doing a roundup. This allows you to bring extra sheet tension in while accelerating which allows you to gybe on a much deeper angle - hence maintaining connection on the wave. Don't speed or drive like an turd. ⁠ 🚨 If you do get pulled over, do whatever you can to not bribe the police. Foreigners opting to pay cash directly to police is why people continue to have problems with them. If you get pulled over, ask for an official multa (ticket) and to go to the station to pay it directly. This takes more time, but sometimes insisting on not giving the police officer petty cash will make them drop the issue all together.⁠ ⁠ Finally, don't let the news scare you. Are there certain parts of Mexico that are dangerous? Yes, of course, just like any other country, but Baja is pretty well protected as a tourism hot spot.⁠
