Hello all new viewers! My name is Maya, and my husband is Aladino. Our home is Magic Carpet, a Vindo 32 sailing boat (which is actually only 28ft) that Aladino completely rebuilt following a devastating accident. We are now on a mission to sail around the world as slowly as possible. We'd like to take you with us. We post new videos every week, usually on the weekends. We fell in love with sailing and with each other. Sailing is what we'd be doing even if YouTube didn't exist. Schön, dass du hier bist! Wir, Emely und Tjark, haben uns den Traum vom eigenen Segelboot erfüllt, eine Maxi84, relativ spontan und ohne das ganz große Geld. Das Boot müssen wir noch umtaufen auf den Namen Meera. Wir nehmen dich mit auf unsere Reise von blutigen Anfängern zu hoffentlich passablen Seglern. Bevor wir uns in die Wellen stürzen können, liegt noch ein Berg an Arbeit vor uns. Umbauten, Änderungen und vor allem der Sportbootführerschein müssen erledigt werden.
