In diesem Ausschnitt spreche ich ganz offen darüber, dass an der Segelyacht „Schnuddel“ noch ein bisschen Arbeit ansteht. Wir verschweigen nichts – im Gegenteil: Genau deshalb ist die Yacht entsprechend etwas günstiger zu haben. Wenn du bereit bist, an einer ehrlichen, charaktervollen Yacht noch das eine oder andere zu optimieren, kann das dein Vorteil sein. Gleichzeitig machen wir klar: Wenn wir kein adäquates Angebot bekommen, bei dem wir beide sagen „Dafür geben wir sie nicht her“, dann werden wir die nötigen Arbeiten selbst machen (lassen) und die „Schnuddel“ auf dem Seeweg nach Holland überführen, um sie dort häufiger zu nutzen. Day 5 in Tokyo. I am away from Wahine for 6 weeks, having family time and writing and working. This is my second stint in Tokyo this summer. The city is sweltering—hot, humid, relentless. Giorno 75 - L’acqua dolce a bordo. Iniziamo a entrare nei meandri più nascosti della barca. Oggi vi portiamo a scoprire i segreti che si celano sotto alla panchetta di un divano: la pompa dell’acqua :) Come spiegato nel video, siamo abituati a vivere in barca con 1000 litri di acqua dolce per volta. Da domani, la nostra indipendenza dai porti potrebbe cambiare drasticamente, diventando illimitata la disponibilità di acqua dolce potabile a bordo. Questo significa che non sarà più necessario centellinare l’acqua per le docce, potremo sciacquare il ponte dopo navigazioni “salate” e soprattutto non dovremo più portare mille casse di acque dai supermercati.
