In August of 2017 I sold everything and moved aboard Balachandra, a 1986 C&C44 sailboat, then sailed it over 300 nautical miles to Halifax Nova Scotia to spend a cold Canadian winter in the frozen waters of the North Atlantic. Sailing Balachandra is my YouTube sailing vlog inspired by other great channels such as Delos and La Vagabonde, which documents the sailing adventures of myself and the occasional crewmembers(s) as we navigate the east coast of North America and beyond. It's over two months since beautiful Mischief was reported stolen by charter guests in Croatian waters . There is no news and there are no further updates. We still cannot believe it, it’s still so surreal, and no less devastating to it's owners! Never mind that they lost their boat, the emotional distress of dealing with the admin of the theft is very real for them on a daily basis. All we can do is just hope that somewhere in the world just one person notices her, notices that something seems out of place and doesn’t look right and reports it. Hand feeding Rick Wallabies 🥕🍎 • • • One if the biggest highlights of Magnetic Island was getting to hand feed Rock Wallabies. There's SO many Wallabies on Arcadia Point living in and around the giant boulders. They are super curious and friendly and come right up to you to take food right out of your hand. There are signs around for appropriate food to feed the Wallabies and what foods not to feed these awesome animals. Charlie had such a great time feeding all the Wallabies and giving them carrots and apples.
