Sailing in Croatia is already a breathtaking adventure on its own, but add a golden sunset over the Adriatic Sea, and you get a memory that stays with you for a lifetime. The sky explodes in shades of orange, pink, and deep red, reflecting off the calm water as the sun dips below the horizon. There’s a unique kind of peace that settles in at that moment—one that you can only truly feel while gently gliding across the sea. With an experienced skipper at the helm, safety is never a concern. You can fully relax, sip on a glass of local wine, and take in the beauty around you. The skipper knows every bay, island, and hidden gem, guiding the boat with ease so all you have to do is enjoy the ride. Whether you're sailing with your partner, friends, or even solo, it feels like time slows down just for you. There’s something incredibly freeing about being on the open sea, especially during sunset. The soft sounds of the waves, the warm glow of the sun, and the feeling of total disconnect from everyday stress—it's pure happiness. You laugh more, breathe deeper, and appreciate the moment like never before. As the stars begin to appear and the sky turns to night, one thing becomes absolutely certain: this is not the last time. Sailing at sunset in Croatia is more than just a beautiful experience—it’s something that calls you back again and again. We’re already planning our return. And if you’ve never tried it, trust us: you should. ALITIS YACHTING Prilaz Ivana Visina 5, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia +38598229437 yachting@alitis.hr

► You frequently see sailors on social media criticizing all the new boats they consider unsuitable for open seas in winds of over 50 knots... For us at Multihulls World, this kind of criticism makes no more sense than pointing out that an RV isn’t the thing for the twists and turns of a snow-covered mountain road... The success of pontoon boats, despite not being the most seaworthy of craft, but great at anchor, shows that many boaters don’t necessarily want to set off on a round-the-world trip, and prefer the comfort of a platform on the water over its performance. With this in mind, we’d like to present the Smart Cat S280, a catamaran we saw alongside the HopYacht 30 at the Miami International Boat Show. This compact unit is based on the open cockpit/nacelle principle popularized on Edel Cat, Corneel 26 and Kat 28 from the 1980s - but also on the small Aventura from the 2000s. The galley is located in the starboard passageway. There are 3 berths and one bathroom, or 2 berths and 2 bathrooms. As the disclaimer preceding this presentation suggests, the S280 has no pretensions to performance under sail: it is relatively heavy, moderately canvassed and its hulls are reasonably beamy at the waterline. But this little catamaran has the advantage of being dismountable to fit into two 40-foot shipping containers. The S280 can be fitted with a variety of engines (inboard, outboard or electric), and can even do without a rig. ► TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Builder: S Com Tech - South Korea Length: 28’ (8.50 m) Beam: 17’5” (5.29 m) Draft: 2’10” (0.89 m) Displacement: 10,000 lbs (4.5 t) Mainsail: 417 sq ft (38.8 m²) Genoa: 344 sq ft (32.2 m²) Engines: 2 x 10 or 2 x 25 HP outboards or 2 x 21 HP inboards Fuel: 27 US gal (102 l) Water: 36 US gal (135 l) ► Become a FREE SUBSCRIBER to Multihulls World's YouTube page now - https://www.youtube.com/c/MultihullsWorld ► Log on to our website to discover over 500 multihulls tests!
