Irish Sailing have partnered with Water Safety Ireland and the RNLI in a pre-season push to reduce incidents on coasts and waterways. If you’d like to do some more training or brush up on what you already know, Irish Sailing has over 100 training centres around the country offering courses in sailing and windsurfing as well as powerboating and other specialised instruction. ► The awards ceremony of the unmissable Multihull of the Year contest, organized by Multihulls World magazine and the International Multihull Show occurred during on April 12. On the first evening of the big multihull event at La Grande-Motte in the South of France, four of the nominees became winners. The event, presented by Emmanuel van Deth, our editor, and Gwen Dorning, our marketing director, was attended by 200 people and was shown in real time on social media and was of course the subject of a video.
