In this clip during a Competent Crew course in Southampton, you will see us furling the headsail whilst hauling in on the furling line and easing the sheet. A crew member is seen sweating the furling line, whilst another crew member in the cockpit takes in the slack. With the headsail furled, we then drop the main. Schön, dass du hier bist! Wir, Emely und Tjark, haben uns den Traum vom eigenen Segelboot erfüllt, eine Maxi84, relativ spontan und ohne das ganz große Geld. Das Boot müssen wir noch umtaufen auf den Namen Meera. Wir nehmen dich mit auf unsere Reise von blutigen Anfängern zu hoffentlich passablen Seglern. Bevor wir uns in die Wellen stürzen können, liegt noch ein Berg an Arbeit vor uns. Umbauten, Änderungen und vor allem der Sportbootführerschein müssen erledigt werden.
