We're motoring into West Lake Cove for an overnight stay on our 1983 Catalina 30 sailboat. The bilge will be flooded when we get there, but we'll have to fix it later because we're having a date night! Just the two of us! We're a sailing couple, on Lewisville Lake, Texas, and we do love to be anchored in the cove and cook on the grill. While living in a Trinidadian shipyard we saw a stray puppy, running around late at night avoiding people and eating trash. After a few nights of getting her used to us we took her in, fostering her for adoption and giving her the name Chi Chi. The transformation was incredible! We had her treated for worms, spayed, fattened her up and did some training, and a few months later she was adopted into a new home. #doglife #rescuedogs
