@newportchartershow June 19-22, 2023 as a Yacht Charter Broker and influencer. I had an opportunity to meet in person Mr. John Pinder II Bahamas's Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Tourism, Investments & Aviation @bahamas. I attended @avyachtscharter seminar. I explored many SuperYachts, private yacht events and I took part in voting for the best yacht in yacht competition. Celebrating more than 35 years in existence, the Newport Charter Yacht Show is a showcase of luxury charter yachts alongside a display of ancillary goods and services for the charter industry. This four-day event is dedicated exclusively to yacht charter professionals; agents, owners, brokers and captains in the dynamic, picturesque setting of Newport, Rhode Island. Giorno 188 - Aspettando il ventone In questi giorni siamo in porto, perché Windy e le altre app di meteorologia che guardiamo hanno segnalato delle sventagliate importanti. Raffiche da 30/40 nodi, alcuni dicono addirittura 60. Naturalmente speriamo siano tutte sovrastimate, ma ci siamo preparati al meglio: cime d’ormeggio e spring hanno occupato le nostre serate a bordo di Julia. Va così. A me un po’ piace aspettare il maltempo in porto. Un po’ come le notti in cui fuori piove e tuona e tu sei sotto il piumone al caldo. Ti fa sentire protetto e al sicuro e quasi ti rilassa ascoltare l’eco lontana del maltempo che si sfoga. Tanto tu sei al sicuro dentro. Quindi questa settimana va così. Fortunatamente il porto è ricco di stimoli, come la palestra, la piscina, il campo da tennis etc. C’è perfino il casinó, ma dubito che ci entreremo 😂 Stanotte arriverà il vento più forte e noi sperimenteremo da sotto le coperte quella bella sensazione di coccola e sicurezza. Almeno lo spero 😂 Dovessimo fare nottata con i parabordi in mano ci rivediamo nelle storie 🫣 A domani! C.
