We tested the Mantus M2 in the Caribbean last year and it performed so well through the big winter storms we had at anchor in Portugal we've upgraded to the new stainless steel version with it's little wings that help it stay straight in a veer and apparently greatly increase holding in soft mud. We will be testing that of course, but very happy to have this 105Ib monster holding us.

ON LOCATION Who knew that when visiting Zagreb you could get to visit a vast underground military air base. Reportedly the largest underground airport and military airbase in the former Yugoslavia, and one of the largest in Europe. The airbase was used intensively in 1991, during the Yugoslav war. While long abandoned, you get to explore with care, underground tunnels that once totalled a length of 3.5 kilometres (now mostly in ruins). Today the airbase remains as an eerily desolate place. The tunnel network inside the mountain is a dark (literally) maze to explore. To book this tour we recommend a guide. Viento fuerte y vela en la Ría de Vigo. No se puede pedir más en una jornada de prácticas de PER. Empezamos izando las velas, luego una explicación de trimado de las mismas y al rato ya estamos navegando a diez nudos en el Gran Nergha, un Jeanneau Sun Odissey 51.9 que nos cumple todos los deseos náuticos. Es increíble como unas personas desconocedoras de este apasionante mundo, al rato forman una tripulación.
