In 2014 Ed completed an 18 month circumnavigation with his father, and I (Paige) got to tag along for most of the Pacific🙌🏻. Following Ed's return we knew we would do whatever it took to get back on the water, this time in our own boat, together. So, after nearly 5 years of planning, saving, and questioning our sanity, we quit our jobs in 2019 and sold most of our non-essential/non-heartfelt belongings. We've decided to spend the next few years dedicating ourselves to travel and adventure while living aboard our 37 foot home, Sea Pearl. A quick highlight from our recent trip to Riga, Latvia 🇱🇻, where Katia went behind the scenes at Latitude Yachts to see the LANIAKEA 88’ power catamaran taking shape. This is one of those milestones that never gets old — the moment the hull comes out of the mould and the project suddenly feels real. In the full film, Katia meets the team, walks you through key elements of the build, and shares some of the construction techniques that make a huge difference to strength, finish, and long-term quality.
