Two of the finest luxury catamarans in the British Virgin Islands go head-to-head: Twin Flame 77 and Aeolus 77. Twin Flame offers an experienced crew of four years and loyal repeat guests, while Aeolus brings awards, the biggest toy collection in the BVI, and a stunning beach deck. With prices around $88K–$90K for 8 guests per week, both are world-class — but which one would you choose? I'm putting together a series of one minute short films, whilst I work on a bigger project on my local foxes. This first one minute short is about my local moor and a lovely young Roe Deer. Goss Moor is the largest remaining area of mid-Cornwall moorland and is a National Nature Reserve with a multi-use trail. The mostly flat valley basin is the source of the River Fal. A designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and a Special Area of Conservation, the reserve is home to many rare species including Cornish Moneywort, yellow Centaury, Cornish Pillwort, marsh Clubmoss, small red damselfly, variable damselfly and the marsh Fritillary butterfly.
It was a light and frustrating day for many in the Olympic sailing competition, but not for the London 2012 gold and silver medallists in the Men's Windsurfer, with the Dutch and the British wrapping up Rio 2016 gold and silver before the Medal Race on Sunday. Meanwhile it was the start of competition for the Men's and Women's Skiff fleets, with an expected leader in the 49er Men, but a surprise leader in the 49erFX Women.
