When sailing through a channel that splits, knowing which way to go is critical. That’s where preferred channel markers come in. These buoys are marked with both red and green colors, with one color dominant — showing which side of the channel is preferred. 🌍 Region A: Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Africa, the Gulf, and some Asian countries 🌏 Region B: North, Central & South America, Japan, North & South Korea, and the Philippines In Region A, “green to starboard” keeps you safe. I went for a bike ride near the marina where Vie Sauvage is docked. I made a sudden turn down a street and ended up watching these guys playing cricket. When they asked if I wanted to play, I jumped up. My first time ever touching a cricket ball and bat! This will be a big part of my travels, experiencing new friends and new things. Food, culture, people, sailing. #adventuretravel #sailing
