When sailing through a channel that splits, knowing which way to go is critical. That’s where preferred channel markers come in. These buoys are marked with both red and green colors, with one color dominant — showing which side of the channel is preferred. 🌍 Region A: Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Africa, the Gulf, and some Asian countries 🌏 Region B: North, Central & South America, Japan, North & South Korea, and the Philippines In Region A, “green to starboard” keeps you safe. The Glen yacht designed by Alfred Mylne in the Mid 1900's is a timeless classic. You will find many of the racing each Wednesday Night on the beautiful strangford lough. The first race of the 2025 season got underway in perfect conditions with the sun shinning and light to moderate breeze. There sunset was spectacular as this Glen cruises the coastline on the way to the bottom mark.
