Had a few hours to spare before getting ready for work - my friend Emma is always up for some body-draging in the water with my kite. Music: Roses - The Chainsmokers

It's true what they say. It is, indeed, better in the Bahamas. Discover the island life when we take three new yachts, the Leopard 45, the Leopard 50 and the Leopard 53 Powercat over to the Bahamas for a photo shoot and to cruise around paradise. https://www.leopardcatamarans.com/catamarans/leopard-45 https://www.leopardcatamarans.com/catamarans/leopard-50 https://www.leopardcatamarans.com/catamarans/leopard-53-powercat

Great Caribbean sailing as I sail solo up the island chain in 20-25kt tradewinds during late 2019. The following year I completed my single-handed sailing circumnavigation in Fathom, my Vancouver 28. Thanks to my friends on SV Grasshopper for the footage. Check out the 2 part film about my single0handed sailing circumnavigation: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-TVP7dP56ezfWlLJSTVKhL0GkKdKIvLd My Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/thomdarcy My Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/yachtfathom My website: http://www.thomdarcy.com #sailing #sailingaroundtheworld #solosailing #solosailor #singlehandedsailing #circumnavigation

This video shot by www.droneproject.eu shows tight action at a windward mark during the RC44 Cup in Marstrand, Sweden the first weekend of July 2021. The lead boat RUS 21 shows great down-speed boat handling. She does several quick tacks in succession and luffs around the windward mark, all the while staying in front of the fleet. The question is: did RUS 21 pull off a slick move to round the windward mark first or should she get the flick for breaking a rule. Things to think about: When RUS 10 originally tacked from port to starboard, was she in the zone? Does 18.3 apply RUS 21 got room from RUS 10, was RUS 21 entitled to luff after rounding the mark. Watch the video and draw your own conclusions. The answer is on the UK Sailmakers.com site in the Rules Quiz section. V
