The Royal Thames Yacht Club's 250th Anniversary was a spectacular affair. With over 250 boats from the latest carbon flyers to beautiful classics that were more than a century old, the four day regatta to celebrate one of the oldest clubs in the world had ticked many of the boxes even before the fleet had turned up. In this video we show the condition of the bulkheads on a Seaway 25 after 44 years and the dangers of not checking them. This Seaway like many over the years had its Port bulkhead which was a 1/2 bulkhead that connected to the centreboard case to support it, removed to allow easier access internally. We are refitting it as it was designed and built in 1980. All the woodwork is done by Frechevile Heeney Boatbuilders in Paynesville Victoria. #seaway25 #woodwork #boatbuilding
