In this extra mini-episode of Sailing A B Sea we introduce our YouTube Club Membership. Hi guys and girls, you've asked and we've listened. Some of you really value what we do and want to support us as we make these videos, but you don't all want to join Patreon. So we have opened up our YouTube Club Membership and now you can literally help to keep us afloat as we travel making videos. And for that, we want to say a BIG THANK YOU. 🤗 To find out more, click the 'JOIN' button next to the 'Subscribe' button. There is only one level and if you choose to go ahead, for a small monthly fee you will receive: 1. A badge that shows you're a 'Valued Crew' Member (this will change colour the longer you're a member). 2. Cute little emojis that you can use when you comment on our videos. These unique emojis will automatically make you stand out in the comments as a Club member! And, the more members we get, the more emojis you get! 3. Video Welcome - We welcome you by name on the first video we make after you join up as Valued Crew member. 4. As a Valued Crew Member you will also receive extra photos and updated status content. You will find these in the Community Tab (next to Playlists on the menu just underneath our banner). 5. Plus you'll receive a DISCOUNT CODE to get 15% off Aannsha's Jewellery (at https://www.absea.com.au/shop). #SailingABSea A brief history of our story and in depth personal blogs that bring you along on our journey can be found at https://www.absea.com.au/ GET MORE WITH PATREON - https://www.patreon.com/SailingABSea FOLLOW US ON FACEBOOK - https://web.facebook.com/SailingABSea/ READ OUR BLOGS - https://www.absea.com.au/blogs PICS ON INSTAGRAM - https://www.instagram.com/sailingabsea/ Discover Aannsha's 'Mermaid's Treasures' and 'Neptune's Bounty' gift ideas here - https://www.absea.com.au/shop This video was shot using the Canon EOS M3 with either the EF-S 18–55mm IS STM lens or the EF-M 55–200mm IS STM lens. https://amzn.to/2RpDNzU
With that sun shinning, flat water and a gentle breeze it was easy for the J109 to Going to Red to cut close behind the sterns of a couple of Impala 28 who where locked in a close battle of their own. Judging the speed of both your own yacht and the yachts around you is key to every skippers race management as in many cases the closer you can get to yachts which are in other races and and often in the way the less ground you will give up to you competitors in your own race. Going to Red did not look back in this race and lead from start to finish in tricky conditions for the SLYC Regatta. With the wind flicking up and and down and from left to right for most of the afternoon the whole crew needed to be on their toes to ensure they keep the boat moving and in clear air.
